Boring rainy Sunday... let's dig out some old slides!
An 'early' Phantom in July 1982 without the bar on the tail.
I loved the Pembrokes of 60 squadron, and especially XL929 for its colours:
And some visitors:
Strange roundels on this one.
August 1984, two Lightnings visiting!
It took some courage to show this one, believe me. In July 1982 three F-4Cs of the Missouri ANG came in, unexpectedly. The sun disappeared behind a cloud and I totally screwed up the exposure. Add the cheap slide film and the bad photographer, and this is the result.
