The Greeks stranded in Aviano on thursday. Rumour has it that the crew took an airline flight to Germany and joined the party.
The Polish were supposed to arrive on Thursday too, but were first postponed to Friday and then cancelled at all.

Re: Spottersday and Open day Wittmund 28/29 June 2013
It was indeed expected that the 37+01 will participate in the 'pharewell' formation. It was already towed out of the shelter area at the end of the 'spottersday'.

I saw 3 Do.27's on Friday, but I've only got 2 in my log, anyone for all three?

Does anybody body know which EF2000 was in the hangar behind A-4 N262WL during the spottersday? At the end of the day the hangar was open and the EF2000 could be seen.

At thursday three Euffies were noted being towed from the QRA-area towards the eastern shelter area: 30+90, 30+92 and 30+96. Do not know which jet was put in which shelter though......

Re: Spottersday and Open day Wittmund 28/29 June 2013
On Saturday there were only two on the static, 56+81 and 57+30, no sign of a third one. There was also a P.149 in between them (90+04), but I don't want to insult you by suggesting that was the third aircraft you saw..I saw 3 Do.27's on Friday, but I've only got 2 in my log, anyone for all three?

I 'm pretty sure I saw a third one parked near the Yak.52's. But then again, maybe it was moved to the static afterwards. We did do the shelter area inbetween sightings...
