And the problem is (1)??

Although we very much would like to have an F-104 in our programm, the closest one is based in Florida and bringing this F-104 to Volkel would consume almost the whole Luchtmachtdagen budget.

And the problem is (2)?? (probably solves problem 1)

Keep up the good work Ed and for sure you will make a nice event of it. As the amount of former KLU aircraft is limited, I expect to see some Turkish NF-5s as well, otherwise options are, beside the annually presence of the RNLAF Historic Flight almost zero,. PS Do not forget to invite the Peruvians with their Fokker 60s

Nice news about the Show so far, are you also expecting the USAF to participate static or flying at all (A-10s, F-15s etc) in Volkel edehtx?

As I mentioned no USAF flying assets expected. The USAF cancelled all solo Demo Teams except the Raptor. We do everything we can to get USAF participation anyway.

Nothing from the USAF will fly during the shows. Any USAF(E) participation will be static only

Well, based on the last few Luchtmachtdagen participation of the USAF was already very low.... so only a few aircraft less. It makes more space for other aircraft from Europe and elsewhere

Depends on who is paying for the flight, If the rnlaf pays it is a free navigation flight to Volkel.
