Etihad Regional/Darwin Airlines starting a route between Dresden and Amsterdam, starting 01SEP14

This must be seen in cooperation with Darwin's LEJ-AMS-LEJ route which will be operated by ATR-72 from Tue 1st July 2014:

- dep. AMS 14:35 - arr. LEJ 16:00 F7 255 Non-Stop Saab 2000 daily - until 30 June (note 15 mins. faster)
- dep. AMS 14:35 - arr. LEJ 16:15 F7 255 Non-Stop ATR72 daily - from 1 July

The new route will probably be flown as follows:

- ZRH-DRS-AMS-LEJ-CDG-LEJ
- LEJ-ZRH-LEJ-AMS-DRS-ZRH

Afriqiyah Airways is planning a return to Amsterdam according to this pilot who flew the first flight into Europe today since March 2011.

Emirates will use the A388U version A380's from 01JUN till 14 JUN on the daily EK147/148 service. This due to operational reasons. Like mentioned many times already, A388U's are not used often on european routes.

Centurion Air Cargo announces 3rd weekly B747F service (every Monday) AMS-MIA starting 16 June 2014:

With the addition of its third B747F aircraft the airline can introduce an extra frequency from AMSTERDAM to MIAMI on day 1, offering three weekly AMS DIRECT to MIA, VCP and GIG flights.

Garuda Indonesia Secures Amsterdam – London Gatwick Traffic Rights from Sep 2014

Garuda Indonesia has secured local traffic rights on Amsterdam – London Gatwick sector, which the airline plans to start from 07SEP14. Reservation is now open. London Gatwick service served 5 times a week, as part of the airline’s Jakarta – Amsterdam – London Gatwick routing.
Boeing 777-300ER operates this route.

I booked the flight for the 7th but I just found out my ticket has been rebooked to the 8th... (I did not get any email or phone call about this). I called GA Customer Service AMS and they did not even know when the first flight from AMS to LGW will take place. They expect some info from Jakarta soon. I asked for the reason but they could not give me any....
So maybe we will see changes in those flights.

I also checked mine and my flight is also changed to the 8th. I booked my return flight on BA on the 7th as well so it's going to be an expensive change....

KLM will temporarily operate AMS-Norrköping:

Between 7th July - 17th August Linköping Airport will be closed due to runway maintenance.
KLM will operate its normal schedule during this period to/from Norrköping Airport - pax will be bussed to Linkoping.

Starting 06th July 2014 Emirates Skycargo will change equipment on the day 7 EK9907 service, AMS-CPH-DWC from a TNT B744F to B777F's. Flights are now also routed via CPH iso GOT.
