Yep, still was a showstopper at 08.45, but there were a few other showstoppers too: some security dudes blocked my view with their security van and told me I was not allowed to take pictures. They followed me every step I took and kept blocking my view. When I asked them why, they couldn'ttell me and after a few minutes another security van showed up behind me, doing nothing but folloiwjng my every step..

Anyone a clue why they are suddenly so itchy ??

(still got my pictures though, although not perfect due to that PH-JNE piece of junk  )

This kind of behaviour by private security people is new to me. Anyone got the same experiences? Rather odd behaviour, and not from the Marechaussee (and they would perhaps have a reason...) but from some "fake-policemen!"
Perhaps next time note down the date and time, their registration plates/car numbers and go complaining to http://www.icts-nas.nl/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .

The people in the grey vans are NOT (military) police NOR do they have the right to pretend or act like they are...
If this aircraft and/or its passengers really was/were "sensitive" uniformed KMar would have guarded the spot, not some idiots who quite rightly cannot be trusted with carrying handcuffs, let alone a firearm, and who would never have made the grade to become REAL (civil/military) policemen... :x

Someone for the c/n's of these UH-60's? I can't find them in the Scramble database.

EDIT: Disregard, needed to look for 87-24583/4

TIA,
Ard

Both were seen at Brussels on their way back home. Don't know if it was a fuelstop or the weather conditions at Chievres were too bad.
Assume makes an ASS of U and ME.
