I talked to the security this morning, they are totally finished withs the spotters circus.

Today also a guy got a real warning by the security when he was walking in the meadow which is not permitted.
Please guys don't get to horny by all these planes and try to act like a grown-up man, just stay on places where it is permitted to stay and take pictures.

Will there be Frisian Flag activity on friday 16 april 2010? Sometimes pilotes become student and do not fly?
If yes (flying), which are te relevant times of departure and arrival?

And let us also act like grown up people on the spottersplace (hill ).
Last teusday one got a little mad, because some spotter, made good use of a bank. He stood BESIDE a photobag. Nothing wrong with that is it ?However, that bag apparently has been put there as a mark, by another spotter. A spotter that stood in the FRONT row, on the spottershill, but also wanted to be able to use the bank to make pictures!

But then again such stories are being told over and over and over and.... again. A certain group of people don't seem to care!

according to KLu announcement all FF flight activities have been suspended till further notice. In other words, I would not risk a trip to Leeuwarden tomorrow if I where you.

Tenzij de aswolk er dan nog steeds is. Ze verwachten in IJsland dat de uitstoot nog wel een tijdje doorgaat, hoorde ik net op het nieuws. Ook wordt er de komende dagen erg weinig wind verwacht om die wolk weg te jagen.

Nu is het wel zo dat op grote hoogten (zeg meer dan 5 km) de winden veel sterker kunnen zijn dan op grondhoogten. ... maar dit kan ook wishful thinking zijn omdat ik gewoon hoop dat vanaf maandag weer gewoon gevlogen kan worden .

... we houden de berichtgeving in de gaten. Mocht de vulkaan in IJsland actief blijven en as blijven spuwen dan kan dit zeer goed het vroegtijdig einde van Frisian Flag betekenen .

... hopen, hopen en hopen op goede omstandigheden. Helaas is het wel zo dat het oefengebied voor Frisian Flag zich grotendeels tussen Schotland, Noordzee en Noorwegen bevindt; dus in de nabijheid van IJsland.

On both sides of Leeuwarden (Jelsum and Marssum) a lot of rubbish/waste was left behind by all the people visisting Leeuwarden.
A small request to all people who want to visit Leeuwarden next week,
please take your waste/cartons/plastic/bottles etc. back home with you so that we keep the surroundings/meadows around Leeuwarden clean.
If you see fellow spotters / viewers dropping rubbish on the ground please tell them what they can do with it in a polite manner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Volgens goed ingelichte bronnen binnen de Klu zouden de Spoken vanaf dinsdag weer operationeel moeten zijn.
De problemen met de schietstoelen vallen mee, en daar waar het een en ander vervangen dient te worden, zijn deze onderdelen op voorraad. Met verwacht dan ook dat de F4's vanaf dinsdag weer vol mee gaan doen.

Lets hope.
