Also took a look here. Found out that the only EVA flight logged round that time was EVA67, flown with the B/16705. This is indeed a B777-300ER.

Geert.
Hoi Geert,

Huey over Ede

Post by Basman »

Hi all,

right now, 17.20, a UH-1 is passing by my office window in Ede, Holland. It was flying quite low and heading north.
Anyone for the serial number?

Saw a UH-1 at 17:33 along 'Het Gooimeer' I think it's the same one as the one which you saw. Also quite low here.

Dat dacht ik al... Ben benieuwd waar hij heen vloog. (Zag hem hier vanuit het oosten richting het westen vliegen)

Thanks Ernesto! Has it actually been on the ground in Alphen a/d Rijn? Never heard of an airfield over there.... And do you know what it's destination was?

O.k. that's clear then. But what I really meant to ask was: where did it come from, where has it spent the night and where was it flying back to. I'm just curious as I haven't found any message of an airfield where it wass sighted. I know, it's a chopper, they can land anywhere...Could it have been a visitor for some army barracks ?

Alvast bedankt, Rene
