For much of the 1969 I was busy, but not so much with my camera

Most of my time was spent as a communicator. (I wrote an article about it).

And only once in a while was I able to catch an aircraft in front of my lens (in this case a borrowed lens)

S-3A 157995 at NAS Willow Grove, PA 14 September 1974. I have also seen this aircraft referred to as the 4th YS-3A, and perhaps it was originally designated as such. Seen here in NATC markings, this was my first shot of a Viking.
