First of all, I must say I just LOVE the Typhoon/Eufi... (SERIOUSLY! :o ): beautiful aircraft, beautiful afterburners, photogenic, great performance... if it's not broken! Over the last year or so, I have seen them going tech during airshows/exercises at RIAT, Leeuwarden (more than once), Cambrai, Izmir... what IS it with these beauties? Temperamentful?

Perhaps the Typhoon is a nice-weather fighter... As soon as there is rain, it breaks down.
More seriously, there is so much computers and software in that plane, there might still be some bugs inside which have not been solved. I wonder why there have been no crashes so far. Apparently they only break down when on the ground. Luckily of course!

According to RIAT's facebook page, all aircraft have now left Fairford.

hi all,

I know it's a little late, but I need some help on the Korean T-50's.
2 were parked next to each other on the flightline with code '1', one with covers, one without. Does anyone have confirmation which was which?

thanx,
Koen

Koen,

On Sunday the most right T50B was the 10-0057/1, this one didn't fly.

Hope this helps.

Pieter
