- EWR-AMS becomes B767-300 from 30 Oct to 3 Jan 2017, was B757. B757 will continue from 3Jan17 to S17.

Turkish Airlines W16 Europe/Short-Haul service changes as of 27AUG16

Turkish Airlines this week has adjusted planned winter 2016/17 operations, from 30OCT16 to 25MAR17.

Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen – Amsterdam Increase from 7 to 9 weekly

Though American Airlines planned daily B757 service on PHL-AMS-PHL, the airline has decided to reduce to 5x/week in January and February 2017.

This is part of a significant reduction in Winter capacity on the North Atlantic in W16.

easyJet also announces AMS-Lanzarote from February 4th, 2017:

Aer Lingus re-introduces the 5th DUB-AMS-DUB frequency on 3 days of the week:

- AMS 09:40 DUB 10:20 EI603 A320 daily
- AMS 11:00 DUB 11:40 EI605 A320 daily
- AMS 14:35 DUB 15:15 EI607 A320 Thu, Fri, Sun
- AMS 17:00 DUB 17:40 EI609 A320 daily
- AMS 20:30 DUB 21:10 EI611 A320 daily

Together with 4x Ryanair, and NEW 2x KLM, this raises to AMS-DUB to 11x daily on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Quite a big change from just 5x EI in Summer 2015.

TAROM in this week’s schedule update has revised planned Airbus A310-300 operations for winter 2016/17 season, effective 30OCT16. Planned A310 operation as of 22SEP16 as follow.

Bucharest – Amsterdam RO361/362 1 daily
Bucharest – Madrid 4 weekly (Day x236), instead of 1 daily
Bucharest – Tel Aviv 2 weekly (Day 47), instead of 8 weekly

The clock is ticking for the Tarom Airbus A310s...

Airbus A310 aircraft, Transylvania and Moldova, are the oldest aircraft in the fleet and Tarom will be decommissioned later this year. They were delivered to the company in 1992.

KLM traditionally reduced frequencies to some destinations in winter time.
This winter a new scheduling strategy is being used, where smaller destinations remain served at a somewhat reduced summer frequency.

EXAMPLE:
AMS-Linkoping - was 2x daily in Winter and 3x daily in Summer.
This W16 it will be 3x daily, but at a reduced frequency:

- AMS 09:30 LPI 11.15 KL F70 Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri
- AMS 15:25 LPI 17:10 KL E90 Daily
- AMS 20.55 LPI 22.40 KL E90 Daily

But AMS-AES - Alesund is reduced to just 1x daily:

- AMS 14:40 AES 16:40 KL1325 E75 daily
- AES 17:10 AMS 19:15 KL1326 E75 daily

As of 28SEP16, these A310 operating flights has been replaced by:

Bucharest – Amsterdam RO361/362 Boeing 737-300/-700 and Airbus A318 (Overall remains unchanged at 14 weekly)

Last A310 scheduled operation, tentatively scheduled as Bucharest – Tel Aviv on 29OCT16. Planned last A310 operational flight remains subject to change.

China Eastern Airlines past met ingang van de winterdienstregeling het vluchtschema tussen Amsterdam en Shanghai aan.
Met ingang van het winterseizoen, vertrekt vlucht MU772 om 13:40 vanaf Schiphol, met aankomst op Shanghai Pudong de volgende dag om 07:15 uur.
Vanaf Shanghai naar Amsterdam is het vertrek van vlucht MU771 om 00:40 uur met aankomst op Schiphol dezelfde dag om 05:55 uur.
De vluchten van China Eastern worden uitgevoerd met een A330-200.
