Sticker from Soesterberg cross-servicing
(By the way, the photographer of the previous pic did a very, very good job! Impressive, because this sight is still familiar to me!)

How i took it with a camera from the tower
On December 13 there was a running event on this base; (startbaanrun Vliegbasis Soesterberg). I'm a runner, but also a photographer I had to make a hard choice; running or making pics. I picked the last. Because I know the organization of the running event (my club; Altis from Amersfoort) I was as "official" photographer introduced to the military staff; The show me the base (Yes I got a private tour!) After asking if it’s possible to make pictures from I higher - point of view we decided the tower was the best spot; So I was allowed to enter the tower.
Unfortunately I did not have any panorama equipment with me I took my pictures by hand just with my Canon 1D Mark III and my standard 24-70 2.8 lens. I took a lot of overlap and processed it in PTGUI.
For those who are interested in a the flash version it is available in http://www.jeroeneck.nl/panorama_soesterberg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
More pictures of the running (and a few from the base) are available on http://altis.jeroeneck.nl/gallery2/main ... _itemId=29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As you can clearly see on your picture the TACAN was already gone! Even your 'Flash version' is worth looking at it! Well done, Jeroen!jeroeneck.nl wrote: On December 13 there was a running event on this base; (startbaanrun Vliegbasis Soesterberg). Re: EHSB the remainders
That's a nice panorama indeed That day I chose to do it the other way around and to run and not to take pictures. However I made a panorama from the other side some time ago that I'd like to share with you. It was made on 23 mei 2008 while waiting for Sheik to give his demo.

Nice one!; Your timing was a lot better (talking only about the quality of the picute )VinFlyer wrote:That's a nice panorama indeed That day I chose to do it the other way around and to run and not to take pictures. If you like I can make a flash version like the one on http://www.jeroeneck.nl/panorama_soesterberg;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Its fits better on a website
The "run-time" version of a flash version is royalty free.
If you like it just pm me I'will ask some details about the copyrights and names I should add to the flassh file.
