There were several other fast jets on the flight line,but taxying a bit too far away to identfy types.Roll on 2013 when terminal 3 opens.

Unfortunately the 2013 show, and also MENA in 2012, will be held at the new DWC airfield in Jebel Ali - this airfield currently only has limited cargo movements.

Apparently the new terminal currently being built is just for A380s!!

A few bits & pieces to add:
On Nov 11 I noted:
Rafale 125 / 104-GD on the flightline
UAEAF L-100-30 was seen departing *(all white)
AMI MM62244, Da900EX was seen arriving
RAFO A320 Prestige 554 came in at sunset.

On Nov 12 Kuwait C-130H KAF325 came also in.

On Nov 13 at about 9 am I noted Oman Government G450 A40-GD taxi to the Royal Pavillion (SE of show); can't find any reference to this reg though.

Al Fursan as well as PdF were operating from Minhad, by the way.

When leaving for Moscow on Nov 16 I noted in front of their hangar:
DU201 A109 and DU302 Bell 412, both Dubai Police Air Wing.
Finally, one question: I noted a C130 in line for departures at about 10:15 am. Anyone for its identity??? MTIA.

Passing through DXB again on the 19th,there was a C-130 parked by the threshold of runway 30,way too far to identfy.Any ideas of which one,anyone?.A few bits still here from the show were a grey M346 and a orange PC-21 plus several biz jets.

On the night of the 17th,there were several fast jets in the site of the static,but there was no lighting to illuminate them.

This was the USAF Herc from the show that took off and returned about an hour later.
It was later towed back into the static.

just going thru my logs from the airshow and i got a question..:

i've noted "SAFAT 02" and "SAFAT 03", are these real planes/Heli's?
and for what does "SAFAT" stands for ?

i'm not a really military expert, hopefully someone here can help with these 2 ??
