Re: 3rd CAB helicopters outbound Europe
Concerning the arrival of ARC Endurance: That might be a bit optimistic.. Arrival in La Rochelle is set for tonight 18.30 lt, unloading takes a few days, and it's 4800 km by sea from La Rochelle to Alexandropoulis. Then unloading again, and after that to Rotterdam which is well over 5000 km from Alexandroupolis. Speed of Endurance is about 25 km/h max, so... it would seem to take more than two weeks to reach RTD.

Re: 3rd CAB helicopters outbound Europe
I remembered to have read somewhere on this forum (or on 3CAB Facebook page) that the initial eta for the Endurance in Rotterdam was something like July 19 but I am curious if there are any changing in case I decide to take one or more days off to witness the loading of the vesselfrank kramer wrote:Concerning the arrival of ARC Endurance: That might be a bit optimistic.. Overview on page 24 updated with final arrival and identification details! Especially helpfull were Alex's nice pictures taken yesterday in de Waalhaven! One additonal Apache is carrying the name Anton Chigurh (character in the novel/movie "No Country for Old Men").

The last Apache, 395, carried CPS GLORIA in the red/white rectangle on the port side of the cockpit.
