Re: "spotters archive soesterberg"
Okay, here's the final one.
I suffered from a severe writersblock. I was more than happy that Henk de Ridder came up with the script of this story.
The writersblock never healed, so I decided to quit writing.
By the way, it's Jan Schets on this picture.

Re: "spotters archive soesterberg"
There were two more pictures in the book. Due to my writersblock I didn't write a story for these. But to be complete I will post the picture nevertheless.
This is "Spakenburger" or "Spakie" for friends. The only thing I know is that he came from.....guess where.....
This guy turned out to be a very succesfull writer.

Re: "spotters archive soesterberg"
Found some more in some boxes somewhere. Sorry 'bout the quality
On the USS Saipan, 1986, which was harboured in Rotterdam. Dimitri and myself. Somewhere in Belarus, 1995, Dimitri and myself with the Opel Record which was specifically bought for this trip. Always good those hammers and sickles Same trip in Belarus, Dimitri with some WW2-monument. During one of many trips to Poland. Guess this one is somewhere late 1990's.
Front row; left to right, Nilson, Chris, me, Dimitri.
Back row; ??, Alex Hans

Think this Gerard indeed was from Zoetermeer, can't remember his last name though.

@ Hans vdV
This is the only one I could find about the ''talking'' sea urchins at Frejus. I must have one slide with the complete word but can not find it. Can't imagine I did some self cencoring..
It took some time to form the word, because the sea urchins were contantly ''walking'' back to sea.
