Post by cHabu »

Hiya,

Bye, Chris.

For those interested...

MedEvac7137 (UH-1) landed at Maxima Medical Center in Veldhoven an hour ago.

This is probably GAF 71+38 UH-1 SAR.

Go get him boys... (and girls)...

Unfortunately this chopper was no longer there at 1910lt (unless it landed somewhere off-apron...).

Thanks for the heads-up anyway, ofcourse!

Kind regards,

Stephan

Runway 22 in use today.

* At 0945lt the 'Diamond 07' made an approach.

* At 0955lt G-273 landed as 'NAF 34', bringing home the Dutch soldier that was killed in Afghanistan (his body picked up at Schiphol earlier today).

* At 1000lt the 'AYB 739' crossed the Eindhoven-ctr inbound Soesterberg for landing. It was not allowed to cross overhead the field due to ceremonies that were starting at that very moment.

Stephan

Hi,

The callsign is always linked to the serial. The first digit stands for the type of a/c in this case a 7 is for AH109s. The last two are the serial, so indeed the 39.

Oscar

In my humble opinion I think spotters should 'assume' as little as possible. So, visual confirmation should always be a must.

Kind regards,

Stephan
