Re: Radom 25-26 August2018
Doing the Radom show for the first time & have a question re parking that I can’t find the answer to on the Airshow webpage.
I was presuming parking would be in nearby fields & then walking into the show, however parking seems to be all over the place with park & rides. Can you park opposite the base in 1B? It’s labelled as ‘private paid parking zone’. Can this be prepaid? if so where? Or is it first come first served?
Any answers or tips from experience much appreciated.

I think the air show website is quite clear about the locations of the parking places:
http://en.airshow.wp.mil.pl/u/airshow/a ... ar-ang.png
There are official (regulated) parking places in red (for 20zl per car) and private (regulated) places in blue (for about the same price). Besides these there are more private unregulated places not shown on the map where you can park (peoples front garden, etc). You also park further away in the town for free and walk or take a bus, but the busses are very busy. All parking places are of a first come, first serve base of course.

For the benefit of Mr. Kite, there will be a show tonight on trampoline

The actual map locations are of course clear! But the other info in your reply clarifies all. Thanks

No Polish Mig-29 or Su-22 in the flypast over Warsaw on Wednesday, it's highly unlikely they'll be at the show.

I think I didn't see reported here that unfortunately there will be no traditional parade at Radom this year.BrizeWatcher wrote:No Polish Mig-29 or Su-22 in the flypast over Warsaw on Wednesday, it's highly unlikely they'll be at the show.
"There will be no air parade this year! In previous editions of the Radom Airshow at 12 o'clock a parade of all types of aircraft used by the Polish military was organized however this year it will be different... Instead of a parade, at 11 am there will be a "special show" - on the sky there will be a large number of jets coming from the crowd side, and the effect will resemble an "earthquake"! The show will be longer by 1 hour compared to previous editions. At the airport in Sadków, a record number of machines will land. These will include not only planes participating in the demonstrations but also technical airplanes and VIPs. On the occasion of its anniversary, its arrival in Radom has been announced by many heads of foreign air forces."

Super Mushak is still on the list for a display.
Four F-22 Raptors expected to participate in the display as well.

Regarding the planned fly-past. Does anybody know from which base these aircraft will operate? Can't imagine from Radom itself. Thanks in advance!

Did you read earlier messages in this topic? It mentioned the bases but also this:Mace wrote:Regarding the planned fly-past. Does anybody know from which base these aircraft will operate? Can't imagine from Radom itself. Thanks in advance!

But I am a little bit confused now as this Facebook site now still lists aircraft as participants for the flypast. Time will tell!

A total of three Pakistani C-130s are planned to land at Deblin this afternoon, together with two JF-17s.
Inside the C-130s a total of two Super Mushshaks will be transported.
Best regards Rob
