100years TuAF @ Cigli
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

What a fantastic event this was. Arriving on Saturday afternoon at Adnan Menderes meant missing some highlights (like the flypast..!) but there was so much to enjoy on Sunday and Monday that the trip was worth every minute spent, and every meter walked. A very big thank you to the Turkish forces and the volunteers for giving us this treat! Not only was there so much to get for us enthusiasts, but the organisation was very good as well. Last but not least, I enjoyed meeting fellow spotters in this positive atmosphere.
With all the great photos already here, I'm trying to avoid posting duplicates, only I can't check Elmer's pics (account overload). A special to Hans' mixed formation over the apartment buildings

So many good things are passing by. So many good photographs. Too much to go individual so to all guys who went there: Good work you lucky bastards!
It is certainly the greatest event of the year. I hope RIAT has the same lightconditions and that the event comes close to what I've seen here.
