That is correct. Here two more pictures of that day with the two RF-4C's in overshoot before landing and the Buccaneer XT280 on the taxitrack before take-off.

Today was a sad day for Soesterberg but we all remember the wonderful time we spend at the fence. So to keep those memories alive here are a few more from the past.

F4F and F16A were taken on august 23th 1989 on top of a companyroof next to where the old spottersplace was located.

This F15C is taken somewhere between 1985 and 1987 at Soesterberg

Again a lot of good shots!

Here some of mine again, starting in 1993, the last active year of the CR-Eagles, 77-0109/CR on the famous taxitrack caught from out the old oak!

77-0104/CR in a cloudy take off from 09..

77-0100/CR with 32FS commander markings during a small photocall, Oct.1993.

1994 the Eagles are gone but still some nice visitors like this Canberra T17A WJ981/EN from 360sq based at RAF Wyton. A few ones operates in June 1994 from here participating exercise Falcon Nut.

Cambrai Mirage F-1Cs came in for a lunchstop, here 30/12-ZO from EC3/12 on the last-change point.

1995 a small Portugese deployement took place in June here a nice taxitrack shot of A-7P 15544 with it's open refuelling probe.

And finally a good old F-27-300M white colored Troopship C-4 took off....
