Lajes (Azores) LPLA/TER - 2015 MIL

Morning Bennie,

This one was part of a (big) global power exercise. There were 2 B-52s, this was one of them and had a problem, causing him to divert into Lajes.

Originally they were planned to fly into the Med, and then return to the US non-stop (with lots of tankers of course).

Arrived at Lajes on the February 27th by night... already had departed to their base in Conus on March 2nd.
I suspected for a refueling problem.
