Re: Frisian Flag 2022
Yes, first I have heard they should come from there. Obviously the CF-188 will be not from 3.Wing Bagotville, but 4.Wing Cold Lake.
Re: Frisian Flag 2022
Apparently both flights had nothing to do with Frisian Flag in the end: the CC150 continued to Whitehorse in Canada as 'Husk04' on Monday, March 14. And the CC177 returned to Trenton on Monday.AK01 wrote: ↑13 Mar 2022, 20:53 Noticed two flights this evening from Trenton To Bagotville (where the expected 409sqn is based), one is CFC3650 CC1777 177701, the other one was CFC4372 CC150 15004, CFC437* is used for air refueling missions only. So could it be that the CF18's already arrive this week?
Pieter,

So they say it was indeed FF related. I think they know it right?!

Well, better safe than sorry. Keep a close watch on those flights anyway, so that we have an early warning and see those Hornets coming over on time...

Re: Frisian Flag 2022
You are obviously confusing different flights. I never said that the flight of CC150 15003 to Groningen Eelde was not related to Frisian Flag. I know it was, and I was there at the airport to witness its arrival.MSB24784 wrote: ↑16 Mar 2022, 11:46 https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_ ... 4704295916

I was referring to the flights of CC150 15004 and CC177 177701 in Canada on Sunday, mentioned here before. Those flights turned out NOT to be FF-related; at least both aircraft did not arrive in Europe the next day(s).
Re: Frisian Flag 2022
FF22 is a go without German and Polish aircraft as mentioned before, but with tanker support

Re: Frisian Flag 2022
Thanks for the confirmation! Any idea when their support will arive, same day or other day(s)? The 23rd I have other obligations unfortunately, but if support is expected another day, I will try to get to Leeuwarden for it.

Anything known yet on the arrivals of the Italian Eurofighters and Tornado ECRs?

Re: Frisian Flag 2022
According to the info on the special FF website of the RNLAF, the British and Germans will be in the exercise but from their own airbases rather than from leeuwarden.
