Wow, I've got to see those TD-Phantoms myself. Until then, I will have to cherish these old F-4 photos from the age of the steam camera.

March AFB, 1987:

And 1988:

And of course some more of the London Airshow, 1988:

Jubilee F-4 JG-71:38+43

Post by doubleugly »

Phellow Phantom Phanatics and Lopher,
this aphternoon I have had the opportunity (without camera-permittance!) to attend the design and "birth" of the JG-71 Jubilee a/c. It is going to be Phabulous as it should be phor such a birthday.
It was already in all-over gloss dark blue-scheme. I saw already some unit markings who phlew the F-4 on one side of the fintip and the country flags on the other. Phurther details I cannot give. And the phuselage design is also GREAT and rhino-ish! I should be ready within 3 weeks.

Wonderful Phantoms !
It proves that even dustbins can fly, as long as you put enough power in it.

Phantom Phriends, did you already see the Jubilee paintscheme of the 38+37 phor the Phinal Phlyout of JG74 tomorrow. Pictures are to be seen at Flugzeugforum.de!!
It is a nice paintscheme, but not as beautiful as what will be born at Jever AB probably next week of the Jubilee Phantom JG71!!!
