that's what is seems to be for this year's Belgian Air Show - one again a fall-back from previous years, but still quite interesting and better than nothing at all ...

The Beauvechain spottersday was a complete ripoff.

Arrival at 08h45 was a complete chaos (queue 60+ minutes)
Tickets where sold on-spot to anybody
Commerce prevailed above hospitality
Toilet buildings where closed at noon
The only drink and food kiosk opend at 12h30 and was expensive (read: ripoff)
RBAF spottersbus wasn't (inside temp 40 to 45°C) aircondioned
Left at 18h00 and there was 'still' almost (flight and static lines empty) nothing.

I think the Airshow isn't worth going either.

The Orange formation did indeed arrive as 3 F-16's and 1 Hunter!

The Beauvechain spottersday was a complete ripoff.

Fully agree, this year the airshow was in hands of a civil organisation who just wants to earn money. We had to pay 30 euro's for nothing. We all had to make pictures on a very small strip too far from the runway. The airshow tomorrow and sunday will be even worse.

I hope someone can give the name of the organisation so we all can boycot them for the next time.

Thanks for the reports Richard de Florennes! Very handy! Allthough we experienced really bad traffic on our way to Beauvechain (left Den Haag at 6:30 and arrived in Beauvechain around 10.45), we have really enjoyed the allmost continueus stream of arriving aircraft and rehearsals! Pretty hot in the sun though!
