Great shots Stefan!! Did you finaly have your films developed?
Re: some old 80's pics of Soesterberg AB.
I have very little at this time, most of my old slides are packed away in a box somewhere. This is from a slide scanned with a Minolta Dynascan or something like that, what a piece of junk. The slide is much better than the way it turned out here. Hours of endless fiddling with all kinds of weird settings and still a result like this.
Roel aka warthog64's digital/macro method seems to be the way to go! Anyway, here goes:

The advantage of not having shot that much is that all my films have been framed and scanned!
I dare you to do the same!

Stefan

Without the "h" please, we're the poor branch of the family...warthog64 wrote:Hey lutefisk, aka Rick Versteegh,

DOn't know about the box, it probably contains more of the same that has already been posted here many times. Still, it never bores me to watch those old photos.
Cheerio,
Rick

And another F-4E of the 512th TFS @ Ramstein AB. This one shot on the visitor's ramp, also known as Cargo Platform (though fortunately it was usually fighters that visited). Not necessarily legal at the time, but who cares nowadays I do remember one particularly pathetic corporal (KuKo) who worked with the x-servicing crew and who always gave photographers a hard time, it probably made him feel important I guess. I worked at Soesterberg in those days, so had access to the base.
Cheers!
