Hello everyone!
This year I will be visiting Frisian Flag for the first time. I am lucky to have the luxery of having a girlfriend that owns a student home a stone-throw away from the air-base, so an overnight stay is included
But I have some questions, which I hope a couple of FF veterans with prior experience can answer for me.
- Which days of the week usually has the most flying activity?
- Do they fly multiple missions/waves a day?
- At what time do they usually launch the waves and at what time to they usually return?
- In which threat on this forum can I find which runway (6 or 24) is in use on the day/time I will be visiting?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Randy

Keep an eye out on -> this topic as most information can be found here. If not mistaken the aim is to fly 2 waves a day, directions of flight is weather dependable and wave times are most likely to be announced shortly prior the start of Frisian Flag.

Re: Frisian Flag Beginner questions
Usually waves take off from 0900 till about 10:00, and from about 13:00 till 14:00. Landings are from approx 10:30 to 12:00 and from 14:30 till 15:30/16:00. Of course, this is just a rough estimate and times might vary a little bit.
