Hello everyone,
A Quick question,
If the UK decides to acquire the total amount of 138 F-35B's instead of just the 48 they have announced, where will these be based?
I guess they won't station all of the 138 jets at RAF Marham, so what bases are the alternatives?
The RAF did re-activate RAF Wittering as a flyingstation, although its only for a couple of tutor's.
Cheers,
Randy

Re: RAF/FAA F-35B Question
I was told once by Danish airforce that the Americans demand F-35 bases to have a certain amount of (higher standard) security. If this is true I would assume they will be based at primary airbases that already meet these requirements or are easy to upgrade.
It is just something I was told a couple of years ago, don't know if it is true.
