Corfu Airport - June 7-17 2015 Mil & Civ, photo heavy

Post by Mad Viper »

Due to exceeding bandwidth photos are temporarily not visible. Trying to fix asap.

This year the vacation was to Corfu, had a hotel close to the airport and spent almost every day at the airport, sometimes full days. It is a really awesome place to do spotting, great views and aircraft. Although it is a lot of the Thomas and Tui group from different countries, we saw a lot of nice special ones and new airlines for us.

Here a impression of those great vacation days.

First up the Mil/Government aircraft
1. Greek C-130 at the first day of the vacation, turned out to be a regular at the sunday(?), possible for medevacs. Second sunday of the vacation we missed it.
Image
2. Cessna of the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina

3. Qatar Amiri flight A320 was a nice treat, to bad we missed his bigger brother two days before it.

As a matter of fact it is not that funny
Republika Srpska is one of two entities of the state Bosnia and Herzegovina (see: Wikipedia).

Ah, that's why LOL. Thanks! But why would Bosnia and Herzegovina have two prefixes (T9 & E7)? Wouldn't that be to seperate the Srpska's from the Bosnians?

Hi everyone!
T9 is old prefix (allocated to Bosnia & Herzegovina from May 1993), and he's returned to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on 7th August 2007. From 8th August 2007. the E7 prefix was allocated to Bosnia & Herzegovina...
