Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Hello everybody,

it took me a while, due to a new job, to process my last batch of pictures during my weekend in Germany. Here's my catch from Cologne on the way back.

1. Eurowings is, since the end of last year, a wide-body operator, flying A330-200s like this D-AGXA:

2. Departing back to Paris-Charles de Gaulle is this French Air Force A340-200 F-RAJB:

3. Air Europa was flying a service to the Dominican Republic for Eurowings and did so with this A330-300 EC-MHL, sporting the new livery. Booooooring...

4. Russian LCC and Aeroflot-subsidairy Pobeda is only operating several European destinations like Cologne. Here's B737-800 VQ-BTS taxiing in to its gate:

5. Common visitors to CGN are the A300-600Fs of Egyptair. Here's SU-GAS arriving:

6. Absolutely highlight was this CC-177 (a.k.a C-17A) 177704 of the Royal Canadian Air Force!:

7. UPS B747-400F N582UP shortly after landing and turning in its parking-spot:

8. And I end this serie with a nice overview of the full cargo ramp of CGN (1x B777-200F FedEx, 1x B747-400F UPS, 1x A330-200 Eurowings, 5x B767-200F Star Air, 3x B767-300F UPS, 2x B757-200F UPS and 1x MD-11F UPS).
