Krakow is hosting the World Youth Days from 26 Jul - 30 Jul so increased security and police measures are in place, especially since the Pope is leading a mass later this week...
On with the business! At Krakow Rakowice - yes that is where the Polish AF museum is - a temporary airfield has been created on the site of the disused runway. It is now being used by a detachment of W3 helicopters of the Polish Army Aviation. On Saturday 24th July at least six flew in. The temp HQ is on the first floor of the museum. The site is usually free access but has now been fenced off but there are plenty of locations to watch the ops.
When in the area have a look!
Happy spotting
Rob
