Good afternoon all,
next week i will be in the area of ramstein and plan a visit on wednesday 1-5 or thusrday 2-5. What can be 'expect' on a normal day? It's an hour drive from my vacationadress.

Note that Wednesday 01-05 is a national holiday in Germany (and other countries). This means that quiet hours are in place on that day.
For Ramstein normal operations from 13:00 hours local time.

Don't get your hope up to much ...
On both German and US holidays quiet hrs are in effect. So don't expect local ( training ) ops only mission requirements. The amount of that changes per day...
Also several notams are in effect that may have a negative impact on overal ops.

Today was the change of command of the nato allied force commander...just seen on facebook...surely some nato vip aircrafts were around.
