Lanvéoc-Poulmic 2019

Post by Buccaneer S.2B »

Good afternoon,

Lanvéoc-Polulmic, Wednesday 11-09-19
Preserved:
7 / "149 / F" HSS1 Seabat
57 Super Etendard
64 Morane-Saulnier MS893-100S c/n 2464
162 SA321G Super Frelon
The Super Frelon can be seen from the road along the Eastern part of the airfield, towards Lanvéoc. The MS893 is preserved at your hand right side after you passed the runway, at the Western side of the airfield. This road leads to the Ecole Navale, where the Seabat can be found.
I found a very good spot for the Super Etendard at the Ecole Navale (the Etendard which also used to be preserved here was gone, btw):
just before you pass the runway at the Western side take a minor road to the left. After approximately 1km at 48.287526, -4.431297 a dirt track to the left leads to an area
just Norh-West of the Ecole Militaire. From high up in the hills the Super Etendard (and the decomissioned navy ships) can be grabbed easily.
Operational:
F-HKCN Cirrus SR20 c/n 2195 CATS / Cassidian Aviation Training Services
F-HNHN Aérospatiale AS365N3 Dauphin c/n 6783 NHV Helicopters (full grey Marine c/s)
114 SA319B Alouette 3 c/n 2114 22S (flying)
160 SA319B Alouette 3 c/n 2160 22S (hangar)
7 NH90NFH 33F
Two Lynxes at the platform remained unidentified.

wkr.,
Remco
