Questions
1) In the maintenance hangar F/A-18 with code 46-03 could be seen. In the corner, left side of this hangar another F/A-18 could be seen. Anyone knows which one this could be?
2) Can somebody provide a log from the morning mission on Wednesday 27th October?
3) On Friday 29th October I saw A-400 (T.23-02, according ASDB) and a French A-330 (F-UJCK 045 according ASDB). Was there somebody on the fence who can confirm this?
4) Also on Friday October 29th 2 pumas were flying, one landed at 10.45hrs and the other one flew to Tenerife and back, landed about 13.00hrs (on ADSB as COTOS12). Anybody know which two these were?

This sat in a hangar the week before.

Where did you see this? As we had it in the same hangar as above Typhoon.

Log Wednesday 27 October morning mission:

Ala 11: 11-32, 11-38, 11-41, 11-55.
Ala 12: 12-07, 12-09, 12-15, 12-18, 12-26, 12-75.
Ala 14: 14-39, 14-77.
Ala 15: 15-05, 15-10, 15-14, 15-20, 15-25, 15-27.
Ala 46: 46-01 ("25000 HV"), 46-09, 46-18, 46-20.
Ala 72: T.12B-69/72-69.
Greek: 509, 525, 611.

I read these numbers from my pictures. I think it is quite complete because they usually flew in the morning with 16 F-18's and 6 EF2000's and not all the Greek F-16's flew.

This one was towed over the platform to one of the shelters were it was parked till at least 14.00hrs.

DJ,
As you were on the field did you perhaps read the other F/A-18 besides the 46-03 in the maintanance hanger?
Also a Super Puma was towed out of a hanger at the same area where the 46-17 was in the hanger. Do you perhaps know which one this could be?
I think the serial ends at 21 on my pictures but I'am not sure.

Thanks for your reply.

Last Friday (29-10) we were at Torrejon, witnessing the first six EF-18's arriving back from Gando. Does any of the Gando guys have a clue which six these were, as there were apparently 8 Torrejon a/c? Many thanks!!

Thx. We thought it was WFU, but it doesn't seem so.

I was on base the week before. Possible candidate for your Hornet is 46-05, this sat far left on the 20th & 21st. On the 22nd it was in the same position, but now another Hornet was in front of it, don't know which one. Noted five different Hornets and 1 Typhoon in here. They moved around quite a lot. Only 46-03 & 46-05 didn't move all week. 46-03 sat far right.

No, this one was inspected (pre-flight) by a crew chief and I wouldn't be suprised that it did fly that same week. It also had its refeuling probe extended.
