Hello all,
Since several years I use the Yupiteru MVT-7100 portable scanner. Now I wanted to make the step, to make records on the computer and attach a new, to buy, base (table) scanner. Can someone give me advise about;
- a new table scanner, like brand and model
- and recording software
I have already a antenna on my roof, but I wanted a good base scanner, instead the MVT7100. Some remarks I wanted to have on the ‘new’ system;
- minimal 200 channels
- airband VHF, UHF
- frequency info/label, like 125.5250 = “Gilze-Rijen Tower”
- a good software for recording on the computer
- that the software only record if something is received
- in a log file I wanted to known, the time that something is recorded and on which freq.
I’m now uses ScanRec but the last thing is not covered (the freq)
Can someone inform me about the best configuration?
Best regards,
Arno Cornelissen

I use a UBC780XLT, when I record via RecallPro in combination with ARC780 you are able to log the freqs with given times.
I don't know of a program which records both freqs and voice.
Go look for the UBC785XLT which is de successor of the famous 780, it has 1000 channels.
For an antenna, go look for a Diamond D777.
Hope this helps.
