RIAT at RAF Fairford 18-19 July 2009 Participants

The RIAT will be held at RAF Fairford at 18-19 July.
The motto of the Air tattoo is "Blue skies will return to RAF Fairford" !!.
And the theme,s will be Tigers eye 09 and
NATO 60th anniversary.

The operational theme for RIAT'09 has been announced as Sea Search 09, so a lot of maritime aircraft can be expected.

This source also states RIAT is still looking at different options to minimise the chances of a return of 2008's cancellation.

I got this confirmation e-mail when I ordered the tickets:

Thank you for order, details of which are given below. Please note if you are ordering tickets, monies will not be processed until tickets are avaialble for dispatch towards the end of the march. If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you via email.

... so expect your ticket from end march onwards. I think this years RIAT will be great again. Just hope for some nice weather and no cancellation like last year.
