"Kleine Brogel Airbase is organising a spottersday during the NATO Tiger Meet on September 18, 2009. Spotters are offered the change to take a close look at the NATO Tiger Meet participants during this day.

Also on the 18th the participants for the SANICOLE Airshow, taking place on Sunday 20th September, will be arriving during the spottersday.

BAF representative Vanderfeesten told us during the departure of the RJordAF F-16's that they were working with the USAF to get a dedicated tanker on base and if possible a dedicated bomber (B-1 or better) as well. They already had the right kind of contacts; now let's hope they'll succeed in pulling that off!

Restored FX-52 attends NATO Tiger Meet 2009

The famous 'Tiger' Starfighter will be on display during the NATO Tiger Meet spottersday on September 18, 2009
The FX-52 was the first aircraft from 31 squadron that received a full Tiger colour scheme. This was done for the 1978 NATO Tiger Meet held at Kleine-Brogel airbase from on 19-26 June 1978.

Initial Planning Conference at Kleine Brogel
» NATO Tiger Meet



From the 24th till 26th of November the Initial Planning Conference for NATO Tiger Meet 2009 takes place at Kleine Brogel Airbase
The IPC will bring together the main players of NTM '09 and will focus on the operational aspects. Also a extended site survey is planned.
Expected aircraft (note some sqn's attend by car / civil airlines) bringing in attending aircrew are:

11 F French Navy : 1 Falcon 10
338 Sqn NoAF : 1 F-16 AM
11 Staffel Swiss AF : 1 Beech 350/1900
211 Sqn Czech Republic : 1 L-159

According to the SPanish MoD, ALA14 (Mirage F1) will be particpating in the Tiger Meet in Germany?? I presume this should be Kleine Brogel. Beside that, They will also participate in the Sanicole Airshow. Source:

To all those people waiting with high hopes

The TigerMeet 2009 will be an incredible one, and it sure is gonna be worthwhile if you turn your trip into a long weekend; the Sanicole 'Tiger' Airshow is only two days later , and will feature as usual a pretty incredible flying program, some hot and very wanted airshowacts and of course the usual surprises..all very photogenic

Extensive and premiere information on both events will be given on the wellknown Belgian airshows.be site , starting within a few months.
