Nightshots 29-01-2010.

Post by shepherd »

Good Evening!
I've got nothing to do this evening, so when I saw Rotterdam airport Uses Runway 06 for landing. I grabbed my tripod and camera, and now just gotta wait till a new flight arrives.

Any Registration number als welcome if you have them available.

1. HV-6834 from Innsbruck.

I will upload more when more aircraft arrive. Nothing planned untill 21:45 local time..

Untill then I just have to wait!

Hope you like 'em, On long exposures I'm still kind of a rookie. So any constructive criticism is welcome..

Kind regards, Jeffrey.

Try to safe the pictures with an higher compression number (Don't know if Picasa have the option to choose)
In case of Photoshop use always the highest; 12

Good luck

Thanks for the positive reply!
And also thank you Borobudur! Maybe I've oversharpned it a little

2. VG-258 from Hamburg. Coming in a little higher then I expected and have seen before.. (As I live here for 16 years now..)

For the arrivals wich come in half-a-hour (22:30) I'm going to make some more ''close ups''.

Kind regards, Jeffrey.

Pretty boring, just a few stripes, dots and clouds. Try to end the exposure when the aircraft is in the frame. I'm curious about how it works out then.

Yeah I tried that before.. When I do that I just get exactly the same as I have now, only then with a stopping line.

One day I want to make a picture of a overhead long exposure, beginning with a big flash. Or ending. So it looks like the aircraft is on ropes.

______

The result of the closeup is better than I expected. (In my opinion..)

3. VG-298 from London City. Made @ 270mm.

4. HV-6094 from Faro.

5. HV-5198 From London Gatwick.

That's all for tonight people!
Have a good night.
Kind regards, Jeffrey.

Hi, exposure is good but I agree with others the photos lack a subject, something to focus attention on.

Flight plan info of your flights:
HV6834 PH-XRB
VG258 OO-VLR
VG298 OO-VLS
HV6094 PH-XRV
HV5198 PH-XRE
