A weeks holiday with the family to Mallorca, but always a day to spare for spotting. I spent a nice day at Palma airport, with a little extra when I got back in Alcudia.
1.
2.
3. A bit too far away and therefore quite some heathaze, but I like it anyway.
4.
5.
6.
7. Just when I returned in the town we were staying in (Playa de Muro, close to Alcudia), I saw a CL.215 flying overhead. I parked the car and ran to the beach, just in time to see it land. This one was taken just after landing
8. and after floating arounf for a few minutes it took off again.
These last two were quite far away so I had to crop a lot, but I liked the view of this bird landing on the water.
Comments as always welcome.

Re: Mallorca May 2010
It was coming down the runway for several hunderds of metres on one wheel before the other two touched. I also have a pic of a DHC.8 doing the same, bur for a shorter distance. I didn't experience the wind as very strong though...Rambie2006 wrote:That ATR 42 had a really hard time there!

On which runway/spot have you taken this photos?
I've been there also but this looks like a different angle as what I've seen.

On below pic I have marked the spot with a red arrow.Arjenp wrote:On which runway/spot have you taken this photos?

For an afternoon (after 3PM) photo session one would have to move to a spot north of the field, but I didn't stay that late (which got me the CL.215 )
