St maarten St Barths and Trip HEAVY phototopic

Post by shepherd »

Good evening all!
Last week I've had a trip to St Maarten with a day to St Barths.
I stayed at the Sonesta Beach resort.

the route I have flown was crazy..:
AMS-CDG-SXM-SBH-SXM-PTP-CDG-FRA-AMS. (SXM-PTP-CDG-FRA due to the ash cloud..)

here it comes...
LOTS of pictures from Maho Beach, my hotel room, my seat in the aircraft, the airport terminal or from St barths..

1. Before my flight to CDG.. My airplane!
Image

2. A380 @ CDG  not my best picture..
Image

3. CDG-SXM during cruise!
Image

4. In my head I heard the computer counting.. 100.. 50.. 30... haha.
Image

5. My first aircraft at maho beach..
Image

6. And then my first jetliner! What a sound.. and then after the cracking sound of the vortices spooking around!
Image

7. From the corner of the resort property. Canjet Lining up Runway 10.
Image

8. Spirit about to touch down..
Image

9. woooow... DL 757 Touchdown.

15. Taken from my hotel room.. JetBlue departing Runway 28!!
Image

16. A room with a view..
Image

17. Air Caribes reversed departure!!! :bday: :bday:
Image

18. shot 18 is at 18mm..
Image

19. Again a room with a view!
Image
20.
Image

21.
Image

22.
Image

23. What airplane? (somewhere is a 737-200 departing 28!!)
Image

24.
Image

25. my only comment: wow..
Image

26.
Image

27. Again from my room!
Image
28.
Image

29. the SUN is setting..
Image

Image

44. St barths runway visible!

Compliments for this set. Great pictures and a great variety of shots. You really exploited the unique viewpoint at its best with the wide angle shots. There's no escaping actually loving this civil stuff ;-)
