moderator edit: Sorry for the inconvenience, this topic was moved back and forth some. We intend to leave it in this area now. Below photos remain displayed for reference, others are linked.
Hi Everybody,
We went to rotterdam with my grandparents to make a sightseeing tour trough the harbor of Rotterdam. And when we turning into the Waalhaven Noord we where suprise to see a Mi-17 of the Colombian Air Arms Froces.
After some research I came with this serial.
Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures. I borrowed the camera of my grandfather. and the specs of this camera are not so well.
Location of the chopper is: http://maps.google.nl/maps?f=q&source=s ... 8&t=h&z=16" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Wow, thanks for sharing! I am on my way (also 4 the blackhawks) and hope it is still there. From which street did you take the picture, the Zaltbommelerdinges?EHVBspotter wrote:Hi Everybody,

Thanks for the info.
When looking at GE, it should be visible from the Kesterenstraat.
Cheers,

Hello,
Thanks for the post EHVBspotter, super.
Went for a quick splash and go. The Mi-17 is visible and its serial can be read from 51.89653N, 4.44384E
No need to go into or on the water.
Regards,
Otger

Excellent find!
It is clearly visible from Waalhaven N-Z.
I read the serial as EJC-3388.
Shouldn't this topic be in Spotting Netherlands btw?
rgds,
Erwin

Kesterenstraat is no option.Melchior Timmers wrote:Thanks for the info.

Cheers,
You have to go to Waalhaven N.z. / Sluisjesdijk. You can see it from the parkinglot at the end of the Sluisjesdijk.
You'll need a lot of mm's to take a picture.
Regards,
Pim

Nice. I think on it's way from the factory in Russia to Colombia. The chopper is popular and in demand even the Americans are considering to place an order.
