TDPU Kleine Brogel Sept 2011 - Cancelled

Between 14/09/2011 and 23/09/2011 N° 349 Squadron is organising a Tactical Discussions and Procedures Update (TDPU) at Kleine Brogel. During that week a Spottersday will be organised (precise date to be decided). This will again become a major event as in the past.

In this week Sanicole Airshow will also be held. Maybe they combine the spottersday with the arrivals of Sanicole. I this is true I think there is a big chance that the spottersday will be held on friday of the first week. But I've also heard rumours that the visitors of Sanicole use Beauvechain due to runway maintenance in Kleine Brogel. Who knows more?

I think you are a bit confused. The TDPU excercise is not in 2010 but in 2011. The runway will be resurfaced again by then and the participants of Sanicole airshow will use KB again.

We are pleased to announce the participation of the Polish Air Force for the TDPU 2011 and the spotters day. The PolAF will bring 4 F-16B52+ together with 4 legacy SU-22 "Fitter" to Kleine Brogel AB......

TuAF F-16 C/D confirmed !
The Turkish Air Force has confirmed its participation for the TDPU exercise and the included spotter's day. The exact number of jets is to be confirmed. The TuAF operates the third largest F-16 fleet worldwide with 240 delivered to date comprising blocks 30/40/50.
