I hope it is aloud to give some negative feedback:

With quality like this, I wouldn't place a watermark on a picture because:

- Some pictures are unsharp.
- Horizon is never straight.
- Bad light on aircraft
- Low resolution pics (made with phone?)

Dennis you're a master of photography expect to see your shots. But you know ... perhaps inelegantly only criticize the work of others. By looking at your site I have just seen some bad photos, cut wings, bad shots .... I think you can not teach anybody anything.!

I more or less do agree with Dennis. With such an unique opportunity visiting Aviano Air Base (of which I do appreciate you share it with us) you would expect some better quality then the pictures shown. The watermark is annoying...

No guys!! I see no particular reasons of confidentiality and 'a visit was authorized and no one has anything but prohibited in certain places where the camera remained closed

This is too easy Coldwater :o . Although I respect and admire very much your recent posts since they are really special I believe even though your are 61 and have bad scanners you can pay more attention to these remarks. I am sure many in this forum are willing to help you (with tips) to improve your processing. Your great pictures deserve it. Its also a matter of putting in some efforts from your side and show respect towards your audience.

I can accept all the criticisms of this world but not the rudeness.Maybe WW should learn the education and give respect to others' work whatever it is.We all share the same passion. and everyone can give advice, we all have to learn One thing 'to express their own opinion, one another and 'do it with bad manners.WW will be """""" a'good photographer"""""", but still has a long road to good manners. It's not 'God and still has a long way to go and learn not to spit out sentences because for me is NONE

Hi Coldwater,

I enjoyed watching your photo's. It gives a good impression of your visit to Aviano.
The one with the Amraam in front of F16 #526 I really like.
Oke, Maybe you might want to rethink the watermark. but I appreciated your post!

Best regards, Mark

Please explain my rudeness to you from my side and I am happy to improve.

And about my website, it is currently offline due to a major improvement (complete new webdesign). Hope to see you back in a couple of weeks ;-).

As said by many, you had a great oppertunity (once in a lifetime??) and to be honest, you screwed your pictures to me opinion for publication. It was probably a nice event for you and I do hope you are happy with your pictures (and I think you are because you are afraid that somebody steals you pictures by adding a watermark), but I think you have seen the quality of 99% of this forum which is great and again, to my opion, the quality of your pictures belong to the 1%.

Sadly you already critisized my pictures, otherwise I was happy to help you to improve your quality as well.
And to my opinon, feedback like "Bad photo's" is the worst feedback you can get. My critisism to you was more direct like watch your horizon, low resolution, unsharpness etc. But as said, your comments on my feedback are probably not correct to your opinion as you already know how to use your camera (or was it a cell phone)

To complete the discussion say that there are many ways of saying things. Some photos were taken with a compact camera and NOT with a cell phone .See it before you say things you have to ask!!!!!!!For the watermarks I'll put always and forever 'because I do not like to see my photos published by others on other sites.
Finally place the photos I took so many years of photography. I have never judged anyone, I never criticized anyone, and I never allowed anyone to teach because I consider myself a aviation fan and not a photography teacher .
I've been in places where no one, and 'never been and I am proud of what I did. It is so if all goes well 'otherwise stop. No problem I do not have time and desire to controversy
Everything 'should be a fun and not a nightmare

Okay, all parties/stakeholders have now voiced their opinion(s).

Can we now please go back to just posting pictures again? Thank you...
