Marrakech 4-7 April
Afternoon to all,
Time of the year for planning! The public show is on Saturday 7th April but can anyone advise me whether there is a benefit in arriving early for Trade Exhibition Days? I will be unable to have access to these days as not media nor exhibitor.
Is it possible or even safe from security point of view to trying to log what is on filed from outside? Many thanks for any assistance.
And my best wishes from Scotland to all for the coming New Year.
Regards
Rick W

Re: Marrakech 2012
Hi Rick,
Witnessing (and capturing) the event from the outside was safe and done by the hundreds/thousands.
Regards,
Stefan
In 2010 there was no real difference between the public and the trade days, apart from a couple of local training aircraft being towed to the static for the public day (which was also the result of some persuasive talking by a forum member).Vulture One wrote:Afternoon to all,

Re: Marrakech 2012
Morning Stefan,
Many thanks for response. Could not recall seeing any reports of large numbers of based aircraft but may have missed them somewhere. Shall now plan towards an extra couple of days prior to public days.
Cheers

I'm not Stefan, but I can answer that anyway: no they didn't!
From outside the airfield it was possible to take some very nice shots though while they made their pass.
