Looking to buy a scanner

Post by Midair »

Hi, I'm looking to buy a scanner for spotting. I'm a noob for all of this and I need your help to find a good one. I will use it only for the Air band and military Air band. I find this on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.fr/SCANNER-150Kz-1-3G ... io+scanner

I think it's a Polmar RX1300, the Alinco DJX-30E looks good for me but I'm not sure.

If you have any link to help me to find a good scanner it will be much appreciate!

I would suggest the Uniden UBC3500XLT

I just buy a Alinco DJX-30E, it's cheaper than a UBC3500XLT but looks good for base spotting. Thank you for your help.

As a proud Yupi MVT-7100 user I can only endorse this fine piece of technology. Only drawback is the lack of computer interface making entering frequencies somewhat tedious.
