Air Order of Battle Mexican National Guard published

We have added a “new” Air Order of Battle to our extensive list of online orders of battle; the Guardia Nacional (GN, Mexican National Guard).

The National Guard was founded in 2019 to battle organized crime at a federal level in Mexico. It absorbed the military police, the naval police and the federal police, and took over almost the entire air fleet of the federal police.

The fleet is currently being reregistered and repainted in the new Guardia Nacional colours of grey and white, with distinctive checkerboard markings. Mexico City IAP is the main base of the GN's fixed wing aviation element, the main helicopter base is at Itzapalapa (Mexico City).

We are looking for pictures of the GN's new aircraft and helicopters for our website. Also sightings of new serials with the GN-prefix are welcome.

Please visit our Guardia Nacional Air Order of Battle and the Scramble Magazine military database for Mexico. If you have new information and/or updates, please use the updates form at the bottom of these pages.
