Bangladesh acquisitions

Earlier this week the first of two Mi-171A2 helicopters for the police, S3-CPA was seen in Russia. These were ordered back in 2021 and set to be delivered in 2023, the internal turmoil in Bangladesh probably led to this delay.

Meanwhile, the Army unfolded plans to order an undisclosed number of S-70i, a medical evacuation Beech 350 and a VIP AS365 Dauphin. For the Black Hawks they requested funding from the USA, so these will probably be acquired through the Foreign Military Sales program.

Lastly, but strictly in the category 'wishlist' is the Air Force's exploration of a possible acquisition of up to sixteen J-10Cs. These rumoirs were fed after the air force's chief visit to Zhuhai air show on invitation from China.

As always, funding will be a major issue with these acquisitions.
