Brazilian Navy gets first armed H225M

On 19 November, the Comando da Força Aeronaval (naval air command) incorporated the first ever naval attack variant of the H225M, dubbed AH-15B in Brazilian service.

The machine, serial N-4101, has state-of-the art countermeasures, tactical radar and is capable of launching AM39B2M2 Exocet anti-ship missiles.

It has been under development since at least 2018 and is the 39th airframe of the 50-aircraft megadeal delivery of which is still in progress. 

Home base will be São Pedro d'Aldeia and operating will be the Segundo Esquadrão de Helicópteros de Emprego Geral (EsqdaHU-2, 2nd General Purpose helicopter squadron.)
