LOM Praha, a Czech company, will provide ongoing support and repairs for the Vzdušné síly armády České republiky (CzAF, Czech Air Force) Mi-8, Mi-17, and Mi-171 transport helicopters through 2031.

The company handles overhauls of airframes, engines, reducers, and other critical components to extend the service life of the helicopters. Repairs are conducted at their Prague-Kbely facility.

The Czech Air Force currently operates a fleet of Mi-series helicopters, including Mi-8PS11s and Mi-17s at Prague-Kbely, Mi-17s at Pardubice, and Mi-171Sh helicopters at Náměšť nad Oslavou. These aircraft are expected to remain in service until 2035.

LOM Praha also provides repair and modernisation services for Mil helicopters from other European nations, recently upgrading a Bulgarian presidential Mi-8 and modernising two North Macedonian Mi-8MTs.
