On 27 January 2025, Boeing began delivering the first AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters to the Alkowat Al Malakiya Al Jawiya (FARM, Force Aérienne Royale Marocaine).

Midland/Odessa Air Terminal (TX) was unexpectedly visited by three Royal Moroccan Air Force AH-64E attack helicopters for an overnight stop before continuing east. The helicopters, serials 2403, 2404, and one unknown, will be shipped to Morocco.

In June 2020, Morocco announced plans to enhance its military capabilities by acquiring 24 AH-64E Apache Guardians from Boeing. Production began in November 2023 at Boeing's Mesa, Arizona, facility.

To accommodate the new Apache squadrons, the FARM upgraded the Khouribga military base. The AH-64E model is equipped with advanced weaponry, including Lockheed Martin AGM-114L/R Hellfire air-to-ground missiles and BAE Systems' Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) laser-guided missiles. The acquisition also includes over 5,000 70mm rockets and Raytheon AIM-92H Stinger air-to-air missiles.
