First H145T2s arrive in Ukraine

On 22 October 2020, the first two new Airbus H145T2 helicopters destined for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Міністерство внутрішніх справ України) were flown to Kyiv from Donauwörth (Germany).

Bort 01 “blue” with temporary registration D-HMBF (manufacturer serial number 20331) and bort 02 “blue” with temporary registration D-HCBT (msn 20346) were built early 2020. The lettering on the door translates as Police (Ukrainian: Поліція, Politsiya).

Delivery of the other eight H145T2s is expected to be finished by August 2021. On 29 May 2018, the Ukrainian Ministry of Interior signed to contract to purchased 55 Airbus Helicopters: 21 H225Ms, 24 H125s and 10 H145s.
