First Honduran H145s handed over

The first two Airbus H145 helicopters have been handed over to a Honduran delegation at Donauworth, Germany, on 16 October 2024. During the past weeks, the helicopters made several test flights with Honduran military aviation authorities on board prior to their official handover.

The two helicopters were purchased in April 2023 and carry Honduran air force serials FAH-990 (21318) and FAH-991 (21320), and both will be delivered to the Central American country soon.

In April 2024, two additional H145s were ordered with Airbus, and the air force has plans to acquire a fifth and sixth example.

These new helicopters are a welcome addition to the helicopter fleet of the Honduran air force, which mainly consists of Bell 412 helicopters.
