Florida Makos return to Europe

On 28 December 2020, six FM coded Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) F-16C Fighting Falcons arrived at Rota Naval Air Station (Spain).

Coming from Homestead Air Reserve Base (FL), the 93rd Fighter Squadron Makos /482nd Fighter Wing F-16s are transiting Rota to an unknown air base in Africa, the Middle East or Central/South Asia.

At this moment it is unknown if more USAF (AFRC) F-16s have been ordered to the US CENTCOM Area Of Responsibility (AOR).

During a large part of May 2019, F-16s from the 93rd FS were deployed to RAF Lakenheath (UK).

The following Florida Makos F16Cs were seen transiting Rota NAS on 28 December 2020 as "TABOR 61-66";

87-0239, 87-0247, 87-0338, 88-0404 (as 482FW flagship), 88-0405 (as 93FS flagship) and 88-0410.
